This week's feature:
They sell mugs (and t-shirts) with cute hand-drawn pictures on them like:
Sure, you could have these made anywhere, but these mugs are not just any mugs.
Buying one mug can help change the world.
The profits of just one mug is enough to give a person clean water for a lifetime! It’s not that much and the impact you can make is crazy good. (from the website)
I wish that I had done this in time for Mother's day, but no worries! This makes a great gift or even purchase for yourself. Whether you drink coffee or tea or water or Diet Dr. Pepper, this is a great idea. Can you imagine that just one of these can effectively change one person's entire life!?
It's crazy.
It's amazing.
Even if you just can't purchase them, spread the word. Chances are, somebody you know will catch on.
Don't you want to be a part of this?
PS - I don't mean to take away from Lauren's meme (To love their husbands Tuesdays). It's awesome. Check her's out here.
PPS - I am open to any of your ideas. Email me with any organizations you would like me to share, and I will definitely check them out.
What a great way to spend your Tuesdays. :) I love this; I'll keep an eye out for anything I can share with you!

ReplyDeleteOh my! I visited Noah's mugs and HE IS ONLY 7! And changing the world. WOW. He is also from my old stomping grounds so-to-speak. Being from Texas, Hubby and I used to drive through Frisco all of the time going to see family. Very cool. Going to post this on FB as well. Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this!! What a great idea (:
ReplyDeleteI love this! I was thinking it would be cool to do something like this. I'm definitely going to check out the mugs. I need a new favorite. And the other day I was telling my husband that the cost of the cheapo sunglasses I had on would pay for someone to have clean drinking water for a year! That is insane to me. So we are definitely looking to change the way we spend $. When you about that it really changes your perspective on what's really worth spending money on. $5 at starbucks everyday or $5 to help a child have clean water.
