Mantra #4

This week is going to fly by, because I am so busy again.  Final exams are all going to be over soon, and I can't wait!  My head has been in the books like crazy.  Once Wednesday hits, I will never again have to deal with this guy:

I believe that God is going to fill me up, even though I feel empty.

I'm addicted to Train's "Hey Soul Sister"... Is that cheesy?  Am I the only one?  I can't get enough of it!

I wish that I had time to read a book that is for entertainment and not education.  The next one on my list is Julie and Julia.

I'm jealous of my old self with super-long hair.  I go back and forth, but today I miss it.

Soundtrack/Mantra for the week:
If you get rid of unfair practices, quit blaming victims, quit gossiping about other people's sins,
If you are generous with the hungry and start giving yourselves to the down-and-out,
Your lives will begin to glow in the darkness
your shadowed lives will be bathed in sunlight.
I will always show you where to go.
I'll give you a full life in the emptiest of places— firm muscles, strong bones.
(from Isaiah--The Message)

My friend Chelsie did her own Mantra today!  Check her out!

  2. Did you see Julie and Julia as a movie??! I never did, but it sounds like it would be great as a book (maybe more than a movie?). Anyway, good luck with finals so you can get to the fun books!

Also, I'm a fan of the short hair. Both are, of course, lovely. But the short hair just seems to really suit you!

  3. I love that song! I didn't like it at first, but now I can't stop listening to it... It's one of those songs that make you want to get up and dance.

I've been meaning to read Julie and Julia... the movie was great, and I'm sure the book is, too!

Good luck with all your exams!! Mine are coming up in a couple weeks, so I feel your pain. God bless!

  5. Sarah! I was playing that song the other day, and the baby starting kicking like crazy... So over the past week, I keep playing it to see what will happen. Every time it comes on, there is TONS of kicking! I guess my baby loves that song too :)

  6. I believe the best way for Him to fill you up is by pouring yourself out. Encourage someone, give to someone, help someone. Good luck on your finals and if you ever need any tips on fun reads I know a few. :)

  7. Great mantra Sarah Ann! Btw. my middle name is Sarah :-) and my favorite books growing up were Anne of Green Gables so I've always loved that name too. Coincidence? Hope your finals go well - almost there! I know the feeling of desperately wanting to read something that was NOT assigned to you! lol - Hope you have a wonderfully blessed day, ~Kristin

I know full well what you mean about finals, I am a little bit of a CRAZY person right now! And that is all very well due to my Shakespeare class too-- I love him, but I am over my head in Shakespeare..!!!

Good luck, girl! And keep resting assured in the Lord and His mighty provision! :]
